Authentic safari living
Life follows the rhythm of the day - early mornings, golden afternoons, fireside evenings. Safari showers, lantern light and fresh air.

Laikipia, Kenya
Suguroi Ranch, 14,000 acres where wildlife and livestock coexist, and where you are the only guests.
A camp built around family life in the wild
Endangered Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, and elephant are all part of daily life. Every stay at Nia Wild is personally hosted and guided by Wiz Kennedy. From discovering things on game drives, to going deeper with research alongside scientists on neighbouring Mpala Ranch, we're all about the experience.
Come and join us.
Life follows the rhythm of the day - early mornings, golden afternoons, fireside evenings. Safari showers, lantern light and fresh air.
The whole camp is yours: four canvas tents for up to eight adults and seven children. The rhythm of the day is yours to define.
Join researchers from the neighbouring Mpala Research Ranch in the field and experience Kenyan conservation from the inside.
The kitchen is led by Chef James Kariuki, winner of Kenya's “Taste Off”, and is created with the elements in mind, strictly seasonal and locally sourced.

Our family ethos
We encourage you to join us in camp to slow down, and reconnect with nature. There's nothing like waking up to the sound of birdsong at sunrise, or the sound of the river tumbling over rocks, or the rumble of an elephant belly nearby to bring you back to what's important in life. We also love to stop to look at grasses, dung and soil, which tells us more than one might think about what has been happening in the bush.
Above all, we just want you to come and enjoy this life with us. Involving everyone, whether you're travelling as a group of friends or as a family, old and young, makes for a truly enriching stay.
When they aren't at school, our children love being in camp. Saskia loves little details - helping in the kitchen, grasses on the table, and thinking about what you might want at sundowners. Bertie is a brilliant fishing guide and can often be found in the river casting for barbel. Rose, as the youngest, inspires wonder for everything at this stage!
“What an incredible stay! Kids had a blast, coffee overlooking Mt Kenya and elephants all around.”
